Just wanted to send out shouts to Coach Jane Morrill and the Scripps Ranch Varsity Field Hockey gals...Congratulations to all!! What a great game (and my first field hockey game...I'm spoiled now) played by both Torrey Pines and SR...2 30 minute halves, 2 10 min OTs, 2 Best of 5 One-on-One Shoot-outs..all tied...then the second Sudden Victory round...pin-drop quiet...the refs whistle..then...a great save by the soon to be MVP SR goalie...then the cheers! Then the quite, whistle, and then...a great SR shot lifted left and mid-net...the quiet puff in the back of the net and the piercing scream of the crowd! What a finish!!!
Way to go Jane!!!
