POST-SHOW UPDATE (from the post-show party at SD Brew Co.)
Here’s a shot of the playlist archive for the evening…Errors abound in Hour 1 Playlist. Didn’t play Carribean Jazz Project (played Arturo O’Farell’s new one), did not play Bye Bye Baby from Karel (played One for George), played the New Mem 3 album at 6:48…Ugh. In Hour 2, interview with Bill Yeager of SDSU…played their version of Benny Golson’s "Killer Joe" to end the interview (not the title track again). Woa…the playlist error’s abound.

Here’s part 1 of the interview with Bill Yeager, SDSU Jazz Orchestra Director, on the release of their new disc “Thought Trains”..
Here’s part 2 of the interview with Bill Yeager, SDSU Jazz Orchestra Director…
Here’s a couple of shots of myself with Bill Yeager and his wife after the interview (and before I rush in to call the great Benny Golson so he can hear the SDSU Jazz Orch version of “Killer Joe” and we can chat about his 4/5/2008 date at Anthology San Diego!)…

And here are the New tunes I picked out for Hour 1 of the show along with disc artwork from tonight’s guests and the list of the Newest of the New added to the Jazz 88.3 Library this week…

Still have audio from both the Bill Yeager and Benny Golson interviews to edit and post…when…???
